The results from the experiment show that as the concentration of the sucrose solution in the cells increase, that the rate of osmosis also increases. The results from the experiment support the hypothesis since bags were in a hypotonic solution, they gained weight moving from a higher concentration to low.

The experiment overall showed how concentration gradient affected the rate of osmosis very well.
